This helps us decide between age-related English tests and English-as-an-additional-language (EAL) placement tests.

How long has your child studied in an English-speaking school?

For example an international school, or a school where lessons are taught in English.

Can your child read in English?

Reading is the skill that decides whether to start with phonics (letter sounds) or move on to reading and comprehension.
